There are several benefits to working out with your kids. Not only is it good practice for a healthy lifestyle, it is also a great way to form lasting and essential bonds. Your kids will likely remember these activities long into their adulthoods, and the health benefits will reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes. Just like eating right, regular exercise takes time to become second nature. But it does not have to be another boring chore to cross off your list. Exercise can be fun! Be a Drill Sergeant:
One of the most creative and fun ways to exercise is to make an obstacle course. Use whatever you have around the house or in your backyard. Be creative! One fun idea is to set up healthy snacks in different parts of the course and collect them as you go along. When you’re done, teach your kids about good nutrition by having a delicious and healthy meal with the rewards you collected along the way.
Dance Yourself Silly:
Teach your kids about different kinds of dance moves. You can do everything from silly wiggling to ballroom dancing—it doesn’t matter. Just as long as you get moving!

It doesn’t matter what sport your child is interested in—be it soccer, football, or tennis—try your best to get involved by playing it with them. Run Errands:
If you live near the bank or the supermarket, save yourself a little gas and walk or bike there instead.
